We are now preparing for our next Riley Spring Lunch to be held at Padbrook Park, Cullompton and are delighted to extend an invitation to all Riley friends to attend. The full address is Padbrook Park, Cullompton, Devon, EX15 1RU (Easy access off the M5 Motorway). The venue is ideally suited being easy to get to, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and it has plenty of space for us in a private room at the side.
We are again opening the invitations to all Riley Clubs and friends and we have found that this gives a most enjoyable atmosphere and if you have an interest in Riley cars you will be most welcome and this also gives a chance to catch up with old and new friends alike. It is always a delight to have Victor Riley with us and we’re hoping his treatment is successful and he can join us again. He has great positive thinking and has already booked his hotel to be with us again.
The cost has been kept at £27.50 per person for main course and dessert with tea and coffee and does include the use of the private room for us. Padbrook have again been asked to provide gluten free options marked (GF) on their menu and have come up with some great options of menu choices to accommodate us. GF is also perfectly suitable for anybody to enjoy
It would be nice to see any Riley cars present and hopefully the weather might be better at this time of year, but come along anyway in whatever transport is easier for you, it’s the camaraderie and great friendships which are more important.
There will be another screen photo show during the event for people to enjoy seeing photos of cars and past events of Riley interest, as well as enjoying the company and the meal. So it should be another fun event. We are hoping also to have a table top quiz and might also perhaps have some updates of current points of interest on car matters.
We are planning a raffle again and so please do bring a raffle prize to add to the fun. Our local ladies have again kindly volunteered to do this.
You will find the Padbrook Park menu below and I would be grateful if you could please complete the menu choices form and send to me by email with information if you’ve sent the remittance by BACS, OR for those who wish to send a cheque by post Please send to myself as detailed below. We do need to let the hotel know the menu choices so it would be appreciated if you could let me know by Sunday 6th April, please. I look forward to seeing many of you with us again and if you know any Riley friends who might not be members and who might like to join us then please let them know, they will be most welcome.
