Once again I’m delighted to say that we’re organising a Riley lunch at Padbrook Park, Cullompton to be held at 12.30 for 1.00pm on 28th January 2024.
Padbrook Park have looked after us well for a number of these lunches and the venue is ideally suited being easy to get to and has plenty of space for us in a private room at the side. The full address is Padbrook Park, Cullompton, Devon, EX15 1RU (Easy access off the M5 Motorway)
These lunches are always really well enjoyed by those attending and I’m sure we’ll have an equally enjoyable event this time and, as last time, we are opening the invitations to all Riley Clubs and friends and if you have an interest in Riley cars you will be most welcome.
Padbrook Park have again very reasonably pegged the price for us to be the same as last time. The cost for main course and dessert with tea and coffee is £25. There are gluten free options marked (GF) on their menu and these are also perfectly suitable for anybody to enjoy
It would be nice to see a group of Riley cars present but come along anyway in whatever transport is easier for you, it’s the camaraderie and great friendships which are more important.
Seeing the fun we had at the last lunch, by popular demand, we will be having another table top quiz and screen photo show during the event as well as enjoying the company and the meal. This should therefore again add another bit of fun and interest to the event. We might also perhaps have some updates of current points of interest on car matters.
We are planning a raffle again and so please do bring a raffle prize to add to the fun. We are hoping our local ladies will again kindly volunteer to do this.
You will find the Padbrook Park menu below and I would be grateful if you could please complete the menu choices form, also below, and send to me by email or post with either a cheque or information if you’ve sent the remittance by BACS. We do need to let the hotel know the menu choices so it would be appreciated if you could let me know by Sunday 21st January please. Apologies for the slightly shorter notice but with Christmas and New Year holiday travels I’m just catching up now.
