The spares business is undergoing some reorganisation at present, as we reported in a previous issue of the Riley Record. This is due to the lack of orders coming through from our members, which makes it increasingly difficult to justify its continued operation in its present form. To continue with it in its present form will severely affect the club’s financial position. The club will continue to supply a spares service to our members, but in a slightly different way. All this will be made clear in the New Year, when we propose to launch the revised system.
In the meantime, the club will continue to support the needs of our members as we have done in the past; that is, if we can supply from our extensive stock through our existing system and personnel, we will do so, and if not will advise where their needs can be met.
