INVITATION TO TAKE PART IN A SPECIAL EVENT
Dear Riley Owner
It is our intention to have a wonderful display of all Rileys at this year’s Classic Nostalgia event which takes place over two days at the picturesque Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb in Worcestershire.
You may recall that we were awarded the Best Car Club Trophy back in 2021 when we had a splendid display and attendance by Riley owners from far and wide in the UK and we are hoping to attract even more this time by joining with and helping to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Riley Motor Club, so that we can have more cars than ever on display.
In addition there will be attendance from the Riley Cars Archive Heritage Trust with their Gazebo full of stories of the history of Riley to accompany ours and both staffed with members willing to talk Riley to all interested spectators at the event or just to chat with Riley owners and enthusiasts during each day.
Whether you are able to be there on both days or just one, you will be most welcome. the event spans two days Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th July and we will have Pole position parking for our Rileys with a special flat display area in the track side car park and with your ticket, entry into the paddock to look at all the competing cars and special features and entrance into the catering building.
To enter you merely log on or copy and paste to the website https://www.classicnostalgia.co.uk/carclubs which takes you straight to place to buy your ticket(s) You need one per person attending. If you apply before April 30th, you will get the substantial discount offered. Once logged on via this link, scroll down and click on orange panel titled “CAR CLUB BOOKINGS” then on similar panel “Buy Tickets”.
Enter the number of tickets you wish to have, remembering to select which day then scroll down and click on “Check Out” This takes you to a screen where you are asked to fill in various personal details and this is where you must enter the club to which you belong,
Where it says “Choose your Club”, scroll down the list until you reach “RILEY CARS” and click on this and then follow through to the end to complete the transaction.
Once I have been informed who and how many have booked, you will be sent a note of the position of our display parking area and the best time to arrive.
Do please support us in this event and thus help us try to win the Best Car Club Trophy once more. There is a possibility that we may be able to have the White Riley on display in the paddock as well!
